OUR VISION

It is our desire to bring the message of the whole gospel to God's people and the world. Jesus died that we might be saved, healed and made whole. Holy Scripture proves that it is God's best that we are whole in body, mind and spirit.

In the original Biblical language, the word “sozo” means saved, healed and whole. We believe Father God heals His people as they enter into worship in the presence of holiness, and in the power of the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

Pastor Marion Daniel, supported by a team of people, ministers the whole gospel and the revelation that God delivers and heals His people today.

OUR WORK

  • Monthly meetings at the Dunwood Oaks Centre which focus on healing and deliverance. Valuable times of praise, worship, ministry of the Word and personal prayer for salvation, healings and miracles.
  • Weekly fellowship meetings which focus on teaching and equipping believers.
  • A variety of wholeness and victory conferences offering wisdom from God's Word and prayers of authority.
  • Celebrations of Biblical feasts throughout the year.
  • Ministry to people affected by an involvement in freemasonry, as well as other brotherhoods and ungodly groups.
  • Ministry to people with Jewish roots. In the journey to embrace our Jewish roots, we have seen that many of God's chosen people live persecuted lives even today for all sorts of reasons. We have a heart to pray with these people and see them set free in Yeshua.
  • Team visits by personal invitation throughout the UK and abroad, preaching “God wants you whole” (the whole gospel) as well as a host of other topics.
  • Ministry preparation courses for those wishing to serve and minister for Jesus Christ and additional courses for those who are established and wish to go further in ministry.
  • A desire to help and support others in leadership or pastoral roles. It can be hard work being a leader and we want to help keep the flame burning!
  • International teaching and resource ministry with an online shop. We stock a large selection of CDs, DVDs and books, including many which are not available in mainstream Christian bookstores.

OUR JEWISH JOURNEY

It has been a joyous homecoming to once again embrace our Jewish Messiah, to take our place as grafted-in members of the commonwealth of Israel, and to celebrate the Moedim, God’s appointed times, the feasts of the Lord as kept by the Jews.

Looking back we can see how the Lord has been paving the way and preparing the ministry for the journey we now find ourselves on. George Daniel, Pastor Marion’s father, was born in South West London. He was brought up with a deep respect for his Jewish neighbours. Just before the war, he moved to Southampton and married Joan. When Marion was born it was a German Jewish Doctor who saved her life as a baby.

When the Lord revealed to us that the church has not replaced the Jews as God’s chosen people, we began to seriously investigate the Hebraic roots of our Christian faith. We discovered how the church had deliberately severed these roots in the 3rd and 4th centuries’ and we came face to face with the shameful history of Christian anti-Semitism. God has given us a deep conviction to return to the roots of our faith so that we can finally return to His master plan.

This transformation has not always been easy. But it has certainly been worth it!

OUR HISTORY

1983

Sozo Ministries International originally began as Mayday Ministries.

Out of her own home, Marion birthed what is now Sozo Ministries International. She preached and ministered from house to house and then started to hold regular Sunday afternoon services at the YWCA in Bellevue Road, Southampton. It was not long before this facility became too small and we began using various other venues in the Test Valley.

Mayday Ministries

1988

Alongside local meetings, the ministry received invitations from further afield which led to ministry trips becoming quite the norm. As we started to minister across Great Britain we took to the road in the first Sozo Minibus.

2-minibus

1989

We held our first ‘Wholeness and Victory’ holidays during the spring and summer at Kingford Hill, Devon. After that, residential conferences continued on for many years at other locations within the United Kingdom.

Kingfordhill

1991

Mountbatten School, Romsey was our gathering point for many years where we met for larger meetings called ‘Sozo Sundays’. Many people joined us here for pure worship, the Word of God and prayer for healing.

1992

To allow for growth, the ministry soon rented administrative offices in West Wellow, Hampshire. Starting with just two offices, we then progressed into three offices, eventually requiring an additional Portakabin.

1994

The ministry was granted charitable status in 1994. Today, we still pursue an ethical standard as we adhere to the UK Charity Commission’s code of governance and legal requirements.

1999

To consolidate our separate offices into one building and to obtain a sanctuary for some of our meetings, we relocated to ‘Sozo House’ in central Romsey. After first acquiring the left side of the building, we later expanded into the right side which gave us a much needed headquarters for our vision.

2005

The Awbridge Pavilion became our recreational building for many years where we hosted children’s faith schools, summer fun days, family events and more.

2012

God led us to the door of the Dunwood Manor Golf Club in autumn 2012. Although the property needed work to make it home, it was clear this was the place that would accommodate all we want to achieve and do as a ministry.

2017+

As a result of people’s faithful and generous giving, we recently opened the doors on the new sanctuary at Dunwood Oaks. We want to fill this place and bring glory to God so why not join us and be a part of what God is doing here!

OUR PEOPLE

FOUNDER

Marion Daniel is the director and founding pastor of Sozo Ministries International. She is supported by a board of trustees, full time staff, some members of her family and committed volunteer staff along with many others who serve the Lord with their giftings to keep the ministry vision fulfilled.

She became a born-again believer in Jesus in the 1970’s after a marriage break-up and was miraculously healed of spondylosis of the spine. In the early 1980’s she heard the message that “God wants you whole” and felt this was key to her receiving her miracle. She has since taken this message from the Bible to everyone who wants to hear and experience wholeness through Jesus.

Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

Revealed in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Genesis 1:26a
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

JESUS CHRIST

Who is the Son of God, born by the virgin birth

Luke 1:34-35
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Ephesians 1:22-23
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

THE HOLY GHOST

Who is the person of the Trinity appointed to bring God’s power in the earth, and to indwell God’s people and enable them to fulfil the commission of Jesus Christ.

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Luke 24:49
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

THE WHOLE GOSPEL

That Jesus died on a cross that we might be saved, healed and made whole by the power of His blood shed at Calvary for everyone to be redeemed.

Matthew 1:21
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save (σωζω sozo) his people from their sins.

Matthew 18:11
For the Son of man is come to save (σωζω sozo) that which was lost.

Matthew 9:22
But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole (σωζω sozo) from that hour.

They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed (σωζω sozo).

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved (σωζω sozo) from wrath through him.

Revelation 21:24
And the nations of them which are saved (σωζω sozo) shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

THE HOLY BIBLE

That it is inspired by God and

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Should be uncompromised by man,

Deuteronomy 4:2
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

And is the final authority over men’s tradition and denominational doctrine.

Isaiah 8:20
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Matthew 5:19
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 7:9
And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

THE ONLY WAY TO GOD

Is to receive salvation through Jesus Christ by grace.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4:10-12
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

WATER BAPTISM

That all repentant believers are commanded to acknowledge their faith by full immersion in water to receive their regeneration and to become part of the Body of Christ.

Matthew 3:13-15
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

HOLINESS

That God spiritually separates His people from the world and that individuals need to bring their lives in line with the Word of God in order to live a life set aside with God.

Exodus 19:6
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Leviticus 11:45
For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

Leviticus 19:2
Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

1 Chronicles 16:29
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Luke 1:74-75
That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

2 Corinthians 7:1
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

WHO IS JESUS?

Jesus is the Son of the Living God (Matthew 16:16). He came to earth about 2,000 years ago as a man, yet at the same time He was fully God. He was born supernaturally to a virgin called Mary (Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:27), and He travelled all over Israel in the power of the Holy Spirit, (Luke 4:14) preaching about God’s kingdom (Mark 1:14-15). He performed many extraordinary miracles (Acts 2:22) like healing the sick (Luke 4:40) and raising the dead (Matthew 11:5). His life was ended when He was put to death on a cross. Astonishingly, He then rose again from the dead three days later (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

THE MAN FROM ETERNITY

SO WHAT?

Why does all this matter today? The Bible says that we all have SINS which separate us from God (Romans 3:23). If you have ever lied, stolen something, used God’s name as a curse word, or lusted, you have broken God’s law and that’s called sin (Exodus 20:7, 14-16; Matthew 5:27-28). As a good Judge, God must punish sin. He hates sin because it is totally against His nature (Psalm 5:4). Under God’s law, we all deserve death and eternal separation from Him in Hell because of our sin (Romans 6:23).

But God loved you so much that He sent His Son to be your Saviour so that He could die on a cross as your substitute (John 3:16). Jesus was absolutely without sin (Hebrews 4:15), meaning He could take the place of guilty humankind, endure God’s wrath and satisfy God’s justice (Romans 3:25). Jesus willingly chose to suffer and die in your place (Luke 22:42). As He poured out HIS BLOOD, He took your sin, sickness and shame on Himself (Isaiah 53:4-5).

THE GREAT NEWS!

HEAVEN BOUND

It didn’t end there! He was in the grave for three days and three nights, but the third day God miraculously raised Him from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). He is now LIVING in Heaven with Father God (Acts 2:33). He promised that He will return to earth to gather those who have put their trust in Him (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) and to judge those who have refused Him (Acts 17:31).

Jesus freely offers forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14) and a NEW, eternal life (John 3:16) to anyone who will turn away from their sins (Mark 1:15) and place their trust in Him to save them (Romans 10:9-10). This means making Jesus the highest authority in your life and placing your trust in what He has done for you, not trusting in your own efforts (Ephesians 2:8-9). This is the most important decision of your life. The Bible says that now is the time for your salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Don’t delay your decision—you may not have tomorrow.

A FRESH START

Ready to believe in Jesus?

Why not say this prayer now?

Heavenly Father,

I believe you are Almighty God.

I believe Jesus is the Son of God.

I believe He died on a cross and shed His blood for the forgiveness of my sins.

I believe He rose again from the dead.

I declare I am a sinner and I confess and repent of my sins.

I declare I need a Saviour.

I ask right now by the Spirit of God that I might be born-again and receive the person of the Holy Ghost.

Thank You Father, please come and take first place in my life.

I now receive Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and Saviour.

Amen
