Tony Bambridge, B.Sc (Hons); R.G.N.; Dip R.M.; began adult life studying mechanical engineering at London University. His interest in research began as he looked for the competitive edge in international sailing competitions, and developed as he went into industry. In 1981 he switched from engineering to nursing, and having qualified, quickly developed an expertise in intensive care and medical research. Although still working as a nurse, Tony lectures to undergraduate and post graduate nurses on a range of technical subjects, including Electrocardiography and Pharmacology. Tony has extensively researched many Alternative health therapies, and gives talks and lectures to community groups and professionals, including the National Association of Clinical Biochemists.
